Dressing It

After producing my garment, I decided on a few accessories to dress it with. I have thought of everything from classic hairstyles down to nail polish! The story behind my garment is very rich and exciting so I wanted this to be portrayed within the accessories too.

The Hair

Looking on YouTube I found the perfect classic 1920's inspired hairstyle that is up to date and would look great with the dress I have designed. This hair do can be worn casually and formally, it wil go with whatever style you are looking to achieve.

The Hair Piece

I found this crystallised headband online. It’s from Euphoria Boutique and costs £75. This headband would look great added to the hairstyle taking you from day to night!
The Nail Polish

Chanel have produced this amazing colour range of nail polish. Any of these classic colours would look amazing against the dress I have produced. Chanel nail polish can be purchased from many places online or within the highstreet at Debenhams prices range from £11.76 - £17.20 for a bottle.

The 1920’s clutch bag
This flapper style heirloom masterpiece is an incredible bag with full beading in three rows covering black sequins and topped off with three rows of sparkling crystals round the opening (magnetic snap closure) the handle is completely covered with crystals and the whole bag looks and feels luxurious. I chose this bag from a website ‘justaboutbags’ It has a very obvious 1920s flapper girl theme I also chose this as the 1920s became  a time where the bag matched the shoes or outfit I found. It shows a very different style to the garment as it has that bit of sparkle needed.

The Shoes
Christian Louboutin , Beauty 100 leather pumps, £445
I found these amazing 1920’s inspired pump style shoes on net-a-porter.com. The colour and style would be a perfect combination to the garment and compliment it well.
